Ali Imsirovic wins the RRPO $ 25,500 High Roller Seminole …

Ali Imsirovic won the Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open Event # 26: $ 25,500 High Roller No-Limit Hold ’em, after beating Bryn Kenney heads-up and taking home $ 695,355 for his victory. The event drew 102 players generating a prize pool of $ 2,550,000 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Imsirovic has had an amazing year and his victory on Tuesday marked Imsirovic’s 14th title in 2021. Justin Bonomo, who won 10 events in 2018, held the record for most titles ahead of Imsirovic’s remarkable run this year . However, on September 26, Imsirovic set a new ARIA record by winning his 11th title of the year in a $ 50,000 buy-in High Roller event. He also stretches his record for most titles won in a calendar year, and he’s on track to break the record for most final tables in a single year.
Imsirovic’s 30 final table appearances in 2021 netted him $ 5,909,155, and the triumph marked his most important victory of the year to date and the third most important of his professional career.

Imsirovic showed up to the final table with an imposing chip, a lead and was in a privileged position to seal the deal. Gal Yifrach was the first to be eliminated in 9th place by Martin Zamani, and Zamani took the lead from the start.
Zamani’s lead didn’t last long as Imsirovic beat Adam Hendrix in eighth when Hendrix’s jacks failed to hold against Imsirovic AQ.
Anthony Hu was next and his tournament life ended in seventh after his pair of sevens collided with the pocket kings of Imsirovic and failed to materialize.
Imsirovic was the big stack bully, and he continued to eliminate players, and this time around he beat Stephen Song in sixth place when his pair of sevens held off Song’s A-2 offsuit.
Bryn Kenney, the reigning champion of this tournament, entered the final table as one of the smaller stacks, but made a run as the event progressed. He beat Zamani in fifth after his K ⣠9 ⣠went against Zamani’s A ⥠J ⦠and Kenney hit a straight.
Vikenty Shegal’s run in the event ended in fourth place when his K-7 out-suit was beaten by Imsirovic’s J-9, who connected two pair.
After eliminating Anton Wigg, short stack, in third position. Kenney won a chip lead and a heads-up battle ensued between him and Imsirovic.
The duo fought heads-up for nearly three hours, and at one point Isimrovic was one card away from elimination and was left with just five big blinds.
It looked like the poker gods were on Imsirovic’s side as he managed to make his way through the tournament after winning five straight all-ins, and he regained the lead.
Imsirovic had amassed a large chip lead by the time they dealt the final hand. Both players pre-flop jam Kenney had K ⥠2 ⣠and Imsirovic had K ⦠6 ⣠the board came Q ⥠10 ⥠6 ⦠7 â 5 â and Imsirovic won the hand and the tournament with a pair of sixes.
Kenney took home $ 503,880 for his second place finish and continues to lead the all-time best-earner list with $ 57 million in career earnings.
