Americans increasingly refuse to obey mandates

More and more Americans have warrants in the name of fighting COVID. After nearly two years, most have resumed their pre-pandemic lives and simply will not obey the orders of the Hysteria Echo Chamber.
Consider Governor Kathy Hochul’s recent mask or vax tenure. More than 30 New York County leaders have publicly refused to enforce it, using terms such as “Gestapo tactics” and “masked police.”
And not just the Republican leaders: Democrats in charge of Nassau and Suffolk counties were also hesitant.
Other executives are backing off on mandates because the base won’t play the game. Take President Joe Biden’s beloved Amtrak, which canceled his mandate, which was due to strike on Jan. 4, which would have forced 17,000 employees to leave. get vaccinated or take unpaid leave.
And the Los Angeles Unified School District postponed its vaccination mandate until fall 2022 after realizing that 28,000 students would be excluded from in-person classes.
Hospitals and health systems have also canceled their mandates (including Tenet Healthcare, HCA Healthcare, the Cleveland Clinic and AdventHealth) to avoid labor shortages.
It is time for the nation’s leaders to simply give advice in most cases: issuing orders that will not be obeyed is worse than stupid.
