Dinosaur Valley returns to Scenic World | Blue Mountain Gazette
Dozens of prehistoric creatures will roam the forest floor once again, when Scenic World in Katoomba once again welcomes Dinosaur Valley on November 26.
The popular exhibition will return for the summer holidays and will run until February 27.
Visitors will be able to take a dinosaur selfie in the main plaza, descend into the Jurassic rainforest via the world’s steepest railway, explore an open-air fossil museum, and see life-size dinosaurs up close.
The introduction of two new dinosaurs to the valley will mark this upcoming third season of the popular event.
A life-size Fukuriraptor will also take center stage from December 18 to present Raptor Take, a 20-minute theatrical puppet show presented in collaboration with the physical theater company ERTH. Tickets for the production will be sold separately.
Amanda Byrne, Scenic World Experience Manager, encouraged visitors to get in quickly and book their tickets.
âDinosaur Valley has been incredibly well received since its inception in 2018 and we’re excited to bring it back with some new features,â she said.
“Visitors will be able to explore the Valley of the Dinosaurs at their own pace this summer, with rides on the Scenic Railroad, Skyway, Skyway, and Cable Car included.”
Admission to Dinosaur Valley is priced at $ 49.90 for adults and $ 27.90 for children under 16. Children under three are free.
Dine and Discover NSW vouchers will be accepted until June 30, 2022.
Dinosaur Valley is protected against COVID and the capacity is limited to protect the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Passes are only available online with hourly entry for all guests.
