Day 1 of Event # 31: $ 1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw to World Series of Poker 2021 is in the books and Ali Imsirovic leads a return field of 84 in the day of Saturday 2. The popular variant of lowball drew a field of 272 runners which generated a $ 363,120 prize pool. The winner of the three-day event will take home $ 84,851 and the coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet.

Imsirovic is on the hunt for his first WSOP gold bracelet after a scorching year on the high roller circuit. The 26-year-old has made his presence felt all over the poker world in 2021, and he will look to add a WSOP gold bracelet to an already global year. Imsirovic has cashed 22 times in his WSOP career, and his best result came as a finalist for the $ 10,000 Super Turbo Bounty in 2019.

Other leaders at the end of Day 1 include Melanie Weisner, Jake daniels, and double WSOP champion Chris Vitch. Vitch and Daniels started off strong and stayed in the chip lead all day, while Weisner came out on top in the later stages to claim one of the best stacks.

Daniel Negreanu and Phil hellmuth will also return for Day 2. Both players are on their second entry and will have to rotate it on Saturday to catch up with the leading group. Hellmuth searches for his 16th bracelet and Negreanu pursues his seventh.

The game will resume on Saturday, October 16 at 2 p.m. The blind levels continue at level 11 with the blinds at 1000/2000 with an ante of 3000. The levels will remain for 60 minutes and there will be a dinner break at the end of level 16.
