“kZhh” wins PokerStars $ 10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] for $ 878,781 * | PokerStars SCOOP 2021

After a tumultuous evening, the three players who entered the final table as the top three also finished in the top three at the end of everything after agreeing a three-way deal in the PokerStars SCOOP-92-H 2021: $ 10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event].
“kZhh” held the head of the chip early in the day and finished at the top once the dust settled. They left $ 878,781 richer because they claimed the $ 50,000 that was set aside for the winner.
But it was the chip leader of day 2 Dan “Dannyz0r” Borlan who would claim the highest score of the 2021 Online Poker Spring Championship Festival with $ 894,551. The third beneficiary of the agreement was Kayhan “KayhanMok” Roshanfekr who disconnected with $ 791,074 added to his bankroll.
This is the first SCOOP title for “kZhh” which is no stranger to success on the PokerStars tables. They won a TCOOP event in 2017 and a Sunday Million for example. The Hungarian can still be found at the top of the tournament lobbies during and after events and is known for his deep runs.
The other players of the final table included “Beowulf3182”, David “MissOracle” Yan, Christian “WATnlos” Rudolph, Ka Kwan “kaju85” Lau, Jareth “jareth3542” East, and “23tudy23”.

Final table action
With an average of 74 big blinds at the start, the players had gone for a long round and it was “23tudy23” who entered the final table with the shortest stack. They would also be the first to leave after nearly 30 minutes when they called Lau’s three-bet push with pocket jacks. Lau’s ace queen found another queen at the turn to reduce the tournament to eight. “Beowulf3182” then doubled down with “kZhh” so that he lost the chip lead that came and went between many players throughout the night.
East came out next when he blocked five bets with an ace king and was wanted by Borlan who held the aces to send the Briton to rail. Lau won the $ 10,300 PLO [8-max, High Roller] last night for $ 263,099, but he couldn’t make history making two in a year when he bluffed his stack on the river with King Ten on the five-jack-six-seven-queen board. “kZhh” held pocket holds so that the whole thing explodes this dream. Rudolph broke in the next hand when he ran his ace-king in the kings of “Beowulf3182”.
The five-a-side game lasted nearly two hours with Yan pulling the short end of the stick when he broke his flopped flush draw and turned the gutshot into a straight. Fifteen minutes later “Beowulf3182” was cut short when they passed Borlan and then lost the rest of their stack to Roshanfekr who held on with the best kicker. Borlan held the chip lead at that point and held on for about 15 minutes before the three players decided to look at the numbers. They quickly agreed to it and the game resumed with $ 50,000 remaining to play.
With 90 minutes of the chip stealing, “kZhh” was the one who recovered the chip lead by putting pressure on the other two players. In the end, Borlan passed Roshanfekr with a pocket of nine to leave the latter short who then lost the rest to the Romanian as well. Roshanfekr’s aces were beaten by Borlan’s King-Ten on flopped trips to bring the tournament heads-up.
“kZhh” showed his strength and put the burden on Borlan. In the end, Borlan’s pair of fives were deemed good enough that he called the “kZhh” shove that held the kings for the overpair. No five on the river meant the end of the tournament to see a brand new SCOOP Main Event champion in the history books.
Congratulations to “kZhh” from the PokerNews the live reporting team at the end of the coverage of this event.
