Lowell Five Bank promotes 12 employees
TEWKSBURY – On behalf of the Board of Directors of Lowell Five Bank, David E. Wallace, President and CEO of Lowell Five Bank, announced the following promotions.
Maura sweeney de Reading was promoted to Executive Vice President / Chief Human Resources Officer. She has over 35 years of experience in human resources and has led the HR team of Lowell Five since 1987. She is a board member and corporator of Lowell Five Bank. She has long supported Girls Inc. of Greater Lowell and served as president from 2015 to 2018. She is a graduate of Boston College and the Massachusetts School of Financial Studies.
Laurent Estelle Jr. de Chelmsford has been promoted to Senior Vice President / Commercial Lending. He joined the bank as vice president / portfolio manager of commercial loans in 2017 and quickly rose to the role of manager of commercial loans. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UMass Lowell.
Donna Hauswirth of Lowell has been promoted to Senior Vice President / Mortgage Origin. An experienced mortgage lender for over 45 years, she manages the bank’s residential mortgage lending department. She has worked with Lowell Five for over 10 years. She volunteers at the Dracut Food Pantry in her spare time.
Steven belly of North Andover, Senior Vice President / Commercial Lending, was awarded the title of Best Commercial Lender. He leads a business loan team of three Lowell Five lenders. He is responsible for the erection of new commercial buildings and construction, and manages an existing loan portfolio. A graduate of UMass Amherst, he joined the bank in January 2012. He is treasurer of North Andover Community Media and Access and is a member of the Andover Rotary Club.
Manal Chakar de Methuen was promoted to vice president / commercial loan officer. She joined Lowell Five in 2019 and has over 15 years of trade credit experience. She graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Ryan berube of Woburn has been promoted to Vice President / Commercial Loans Officer. Ryan joined Lowell Five Bank in October 2016 as a Senior Credit Analyst and rose to the role of Head of Commercial Lending in just under two years. He is a graduate of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and graduated from the School of Commercial Lending at the Massachusetts Bankers Association. Ryan sits on the Haverhill YMCA Board of Directors and is a member of the MV Connect business networking group.
Christophe Wilcox of Nashua, NH, has been promoted to Vice President / Construction Loan Officer. In this capacity, he helps Lowell Five clients finance the acquisition and construction of real estate projects, both as investment properties and those held for sale. He will celebrate his five years at Lowell Five in April, after joining the bank in 2016 as a senior credit analyst / officer. He is a member of the board of directors of the Front Door Agency in Nashua.
Cindy boyden from Pelham, NH, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President / Head of Human Resources. She joined Lowell Five in 1988 as a cashier and eight years later accepted the position of personnel assistant within the human resources team. In 2007, she was promoted to head of human resources. In her role, she is responsible for managing payroll, government reporting and administering the bank’s employment policies.
Jillian Daneau de Dracut has been promoted to Assistant Vice President / Portfolio Management. She joined Lowell Five Bank over 23 years ago as a cashier. For the past 12 years, she has been a member of the credit team, starting as an intern credit analyst and progressing to the commercial loan portfolio manager position in 2018. She manages lending relationships with small businesses and assists manage the bank’s small business loan portfolio. She received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from UMass Lowell.
Stephane Giuffre of Pelham, NH, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President / Business Intelligence. He is responsible for developing data models that improve the bank’s strategic decision-making process and improve internal workflows. He joined Lowell Five in 2004 as a cashier. For over 12 years he was a member of the IT team. In 2019, he joined Business Intelligence as a business analyst and in one year moved to the position of Business Intelligence Officer.
Christophe Sainte-Croix de Lowell has been promoted to Assistant Vice President / Network Systems. He is responsible for the implementation and management of the bank’s network infrastructure. His career at Lowell Five began in 2005 as a cashier. He joined the IT department in 2013 as a PC technical support analyst. He graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In his spare time, he shares his computer skills as a volunteer with the Cambodian Mutual Aid Association of Lowell.
Michael abramson de Norwood was promoted to Senior Analyst / Loan Officer. He joined Lowell Five 2017 as a credit analyst. He assists in the loan decision process by identifying and assessing the risks of potential clients. He graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is enrolled in the Boston University Real Estate Studies program and is preparing certificates in Real Estate Finance and Commercial Real Estate.
