Mom uses youngest child to show the RIGHT way to open and close a roller shutter and her family is flabbergasted
A mum left the rest of her family flabbergasted when she used her youngest child to show how to properly open and close blinds.
Yasemin Brett took to TikTok to share a video in which she asked her son Connor to “open and close the blind a bit please”.
Connor dutifully obliged – pulling the back string to close it and the front string to open it.
“Jamie, can you do that too please?” she asked her partner, who did exactly the same thing, pulling on the back string to lower the blind, and on the front one to raise it.
“Okay, Ollie, can you do that please?” she said then, after asking someone to find him a chair so he could reach her.
When it was his turn, Ollie used the front rope to raise and lower the shade, leaving the rest of his family stunned.
“What? Sorry, what? I didn’t know you could do that,” Connor and Jamie exclaimed, as they rushed to try it on.
“Oh that’s really cool, I didn’t know you could do that,” Connor said while demonstrating the hack.
“I did it like this to open it and this to close it,” he said of using the two strings.
In the comments section, people were divided on whether or not they know the opening and closing trick.
“It’s the fact that the younger one knew, very smart,” one person wrote.
While another added: “omg same here.. now i know. your son is so smart.”
However, someone else commented: “I’m sorry but that’s not a hack, that’s literally how they work.”
“If this impresses you, wait until you find out the light goes out when the fridge door closes,” another added.
