Snoop Dogg files ‘Snoop Doggs’ name for hot dog brand – News

Snoop Dogg registered a trademark for “Snoop Doggs” in order to start his own hot dog business.
Billboard reported that the rapper’s attorneys filed an application to intend to use the name with the United States Federal Patent and Trademark Office earlier this week.
Snoop reportedly intends to use the name of a brand selling hot dogs and other types of sausages. His attorney, Calvin Broadus, filed for the patent last month.

In 2016, Snoop appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live where he told the host “I’ll never eat a mother’s fucking hot dog again” after finding out how the popular sausage is made. “If that’s how they make hot dogs, I don’t want it.” I’m fine, ”he joked.
Six years later, it looks like the rapper has rediscovered his love for hot dogs as he embarks on his next adventure in the candy world.
The rapper has been involved in other foodie ventures before, including his own brand of gin, Indoggo Gin, which launched in late 2020. Shortly before that, the rapper curated his own cookbook named From crook to cook.

“Welcome to Boss Dogg’s kitchen. Tha Dogg’s first cookbook and recipe book, From Crook to Cook, ”reads the cookbook’s blurb.
In 2011, Snoop Dogg filed a similar patent for the name “Snoop Scoops” with the intention of using it for an ice cream business. As the puns continued, the rapper also launched his own cannabis company in 2015 under the name “Leafs By Snoop”.
Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime next month on February 13. The rapper will be joined by Eminem, Dr Dre, Kendrick Lamar and Mary J. Blige.
